So Ron Paul came in 5th. I can loose gracefully but some things just don't add up.

  1. Diebold electronic voting machines (very unreliable and hackable)
  2. Ron Paul was told by the Iowa GOP it would cost him $184,000 to have a full paper count. ($184,000 to count just over 14,000 ballots?)
  3. At least 1 Machine malfunctioned and the tabulators had to recount at least 1500 ballots.
  4. 9,000 less people voted this time compared to the last Iowa straw poll held in 1999.

I guess to put it in perspective first place winner Mitt Romney "spent millions of dollars and months of effort" in Iowa to win this straw poll. Where as Ron Paul spent just over $200,000 and did all his campaigning in about 1 week. The results weren't too bad considering what he's up against.

I wonder if Romney dipped into his personal wealth of $250 million to bring home this victory?

I'm sure you're wondering correctly. Ron Paul has some serious financial competition. What was it that Giuliani was charging for a dinner / lunch plate in Colorado? People are starving.

Yeah, no joke a thousand dollar a plate. Only corporate interest people can financially handle these kind of dinners.  That is why so much respect has to go to Ron Paul and his campaign. People that are financially strapped our stepping up and sacrificing the only way they no how. I contribute every chance I can, because it is an investment in a free future. The sad thing about these fools who contribute to the globalist candidates they are literally contributing financially to their own demise. Such Irony.

Everything I am, is wrapped up on the fact that I was born a freeman, and if I am ever to allow government the opportunity to take away these freedoms than everything I am goes with it.

Do you guys know when the voting deadlines are?  I don't know much about the political voting process.  When are primaries?

Every state is different, but you have to be registered republican by a certain time in order to vote in the primaries. Most deadlines for the key states to register Republican is by the beginning of December or January. Check out this link on Ron Paul's website and it will tell you exactly by when for your state.

GO RON PAUL!!
