Interesting... I have everything in Gold and Silver, but that market is being manipulated hard core too. It can be very frustrating seeing everything and not having many options finacially.

Hi Hawk,

Gold and Silver is an excellent option for the conservative aspect of your portfolio. I've purchased gold, and my xmas present is a chunk of silver. This will be allocated (stamped with my name on it) and then shipped to my back yard. If I were to purchase more than $10k and say, fly home, there would be no need to claim it because I'd be holding a 'warehouse receipt' which has no nominative value, and therefor is non-negotiable. In the event of emergency (which is what you should consider in the conservative portion of your portfolio), I think gold should be in your back yard or around your neck like Mr.T... well maybe not like Mr.T, but you get the idea. If a couple of strategic satellites go down, you want your reserves in hand.

In times like this, you may ask how anyone sane could talk about anything more than being 'conservative'.

There is a whole world of opportunity outside your backyard. Why should any patriotic American even consider moving world-wide?

1. It is not in this government's interest to save the American family man. If you leave their backyard, it's harder for them to control you and 'protect' you.
2. The tailspin cannot swing back into a balance. It is unfortunate, but Rome has seen it's hay day. Are you ready?
3. The government has a plan- and it simply is not in your interest. You need your own plan and umbrella of protection.
4. It is your personal responsibility to manage your finances, protect your family, and above all, carve out a life you can be happy with.
5. In a society where the FDA, IRS, Banks, Schools, Lenders, Media etc CANNOT BE TRUSTED you need to look to those who have ventured ahead and learn from them.... those that are willing to share, that is.
