Authorities Plan To Trawl Phone Calls And E Mails For Signs Of “Resentment Toward Government”
| Infowars.com | Do you resent the government for enforcing Obamacare or raising your taxes? Write about it in an email or talk about it on the phone and you could be placed under surveillance as a potential terrorist, if frightening new technology being shopped to law enforcement agencies is implemented. Forget pre-crime and get ready for face-crime, Big Brother is set to unleash a new wave of shockingly invasive and Orwellian technology on the American people if a recent symposium in Hamburg New York is anything to go by. Federal agencies, police departments and others were all in attendance to see a demonstration of a system that trawls phone conversations, emails and instant messages to detect “resentment toward government,” alerting authorities to potential “terrorists” who are then placed under surveillance. US judge dismisses hearing into Guantanamo 'suicides'
| AP | A US federal judge dismissed Wednesday a complaint by the families of two Guantanamo detainees who alleged the men's deaths in 2006 had been covered up when the Pentagon ruled them as suicides. In her ruling, US District Judge Ellen Huvelle said "the highly disturbing nature of allegations in a complaint cannot be a sufficient basis in law" for the case to be heard. Read

Silver heading for supply deficit – Morgan
| MiningWeekly.com | Silver is likely heading for a supply deficit in the next decade or so, as demand growth gets a boost from new industrial uses for the metal, as well as increased investor interest, analyst and founder of Silver-Investor.com David Morgan said this weekend. “I am more bullish over the next ten years than I was over the previous ten years [for silver],” he said in a Sunday presentation at the Cambridge House resource investment conference in Toronto.

GM maize 'has polluted rivers across the United States'
| Independent | An insecticide used in genetically modified (GM) crops grown extensively in the United States and other parts of the world has leached into the water of the surrounding environment. Feds Radiating Americans At Internal Checkpoints
| PrisonPlanet.com | Federal authorities do not concern themselves about the flood of illegal immigrants and drugs crossing the border every day, they’re more worried about radiating American truck drivers at internal checkpoints with mobile scanners that shoot dangerous x-rays through both vehicles and passengers. As we reported last month, the federal government has acquired hundreds of backscatter x-ray scanners mounted in vans that they are now using to randomly scan vehicles, passengers and homes in complete violation of the 4th amendment and with wanton disregard for any health consequences. |
| The Economic Collapse | The United States is rapidly becoming the very first "post-industrial" nation on the globe. All great economic empires eventually become fat and lazy and squander the great wealth that their forefathers have left them, but the pace at which America is accomplishing this is absolutely amazing. It was America that was at the forefront of the industrial revolution. It was America that showed the world how to mass produce everything from automobiles to televisions to airplanes. Robert Gates: 'We're Not Ever Leaving' Afghanistan
| Huffington Post | In a shocking indication of a split between the White House and the Pentagon over the war in Afghanistan, Defense Secretary Robert Gates believes that the U.S. military will never leave the war-torn country. During a dinner hosted by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for Afghan President Hamid Karzai in May, Gates reminded the group that he still feels guilty for his role in the first President Bush's decision to pull out of Afghanistan after the Soviet withdrawal in 1989, according to Bob Woodward's new book, "Obama's Wars." And to express his commitment to not letting down the country again, he emphasized: Read
