Feb. 25 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama will ask Congress to set aside $634 billion over 10 years to help pay for an overhaul of the nation’s health-care system, an administration official said.

About half the money will come from a combination of cost cuts in the Medicare and Medicaid programs and unspecified tax provisions, the official said.
