It is interesting to witness the response to Alex Jones’ confrontation with Michelle Malkin at the DNC in Denver on August 25. If the comments posted on Infowars are any indication, a large number of people disagree with Alex’s method of confrontation, even find it repulsive. “That was a bit harsh and immature, to say the least. Alex makes himself and the movement against the New World Order look bad by behaving in such a radical manner,” writes one. “Did Kurt Nimmo actually write that she should be arrested? For having an opinion?” adds another.
No, I said she should be arrested for helping to facilitate an illegal and immoral war, for acting as a propagandist for mass murder. Malkin’s enthusiastic support for the criminal neocons and their invasions and serial murder makes her apologia for internment camps pale by way of comparison. If there will ever be a trial for the neocon warmongers, Michelle Malkin should take a seat next to other hate mongers and advocates of mass murder such as Charles Kruthammer, Rush Limbaugh, and Billy Kristol, to name but three. Opinions in support of war and murder — more than a million Iraqis dead, millions more poisoned with depleted uranium — have consequence. Freedom of speech does not mean you can scream “Fire!” in a crowded theater. As an influential author and blogger, Michelle Malkin must be held responsible for her words.
It seems we have amnesia when it comes to our history. Once upon a time, more specifically in 1768, Americans not only opposed the British and agents of the crown over the Townshend Acts and the Stamp Act — that is, unfair taxes imposed — but confronted them directly in the streets. Customs officials were tar and feathered, thrown in the Boston Harbor, and riots ensued. Now we have a government hijacked by neocons and their globalist buddies, they are in the process of bankrupting the country and trashing the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, and when a few brave souls confront their minions and apologists — not tar and feathering them, as they deserve, but merely verbally confront them — people who like to call themselves patriots complain.
Michelle Malkin and the neocons should be confronted at every turn, every time they walk out their door and appear in public. Is this impolite? You bet. But then apologists for mass murder and possible nuclear conflagration — as Paul Craig Roberts recently warned about — deserve no quarter and should expect none. Alex Jones did what millions of people should do — confront these criminals incessantly.
It’s what our forefathers did when the British tread on them — and for lesser crimes. After all, the British did not threaten to blow up the world, as the neocons are doing now with their brinkmanship with Russia.
